Conservatory Ceremony

The Conservatory Ceremony with a wedding breakfast overlooks the beautifully manicured gardens and countryside, perfect for a gorgeous reception. Our unique drawing room offers traditional country décor with a modern feel for a perfectly rustic yet contemporary wedding.
Milford Ceremony

The Milford Ceremony Room includes a private outdoor courtyard area, complete with gorgeous outdoor fountains. This beautiful room is our largest air-conditioned suite in the hotel, perfect for large gatherings and lively receptions. Weddings have been a big part of our ever growing hotel & this room is the perfect suite, that includes a private bar, and on request, a private cocktail bar.
Woodland Garden

The Woodland Gardens is a space perfect for a simple, but elegant Wedding. Walk down the aisle in front of up to 80 guests. Take your vows in a our stunning rustic style wooden ceremony area. Celebrate your commitment to each other in our starlight cave overlooking the sprawling countryside. Perfect for a wedding everyone will remember for the rest of their lives.
Lavinias Ceremony

Our Lavinias Ceremony room takes place in a gorgeously oak panelled room illuminated by an amazingly large bay window, featuring a view of the conservatory. Guests can talk and relax near the wooden fireplace, perfect for a romantic ambiance. Enjoy tasty finger foods and delectable buffets, perfect for social gatherings and wedding dinners. Can seat up to 45 guests.

"Makeney are simply the best our professional wedding venue hosting our wedding. Here was an exclusive event which provided an exclusive venue that has the most professional welcoming seamless organisation I have ever seen one of the things that we really noticed about Makeney was that the staff run like clockwork everything got done and sorted without us even noticing it was as if the staff weren’t really there, this only added to the very personal feeling that the venue offers. The venue dresser and the catering were fantastic. The venue dresser captured my vision perfectly and went above and beyond to make sure it was absolutely everything that we wanted. The catering was amazing our guests were overwhelmed with how good the food was we had the gold menu which suited everybody and there was plenty of it to go around this venue offers excellent value for money with the exclusive package. You really do get everything. We didn’t hesitate to book with Nicola when we first met her. She’s so professional she’s heartwarming welcoming and nothing was ever too much trouble for Nicola the whole booking process from beginning to the morning after our wedding was simply seamless and I would do it over and over again."
